  1. "From Kalamazoo to the White Mountains of Greer, Arizona. I watched the rolling green hills and farmland of the Midwest turn into the dry and canyon-filled regions of New Mexico and Arizona. Taking a road trip by yourself is an amazing experience, and I recommend everyone take the time to embrace yourself and the newfound territory you are rolling across." —Codi Thompson

  5. "My two favorite road trips were both driving around the state of Colorado. We did it when I was a child and that's when I first fell for the beauty of the state. My husband and I took a similar road trip a few years ago and I believe the state is truly magical. The beauty of Colorado cannot be accurately described with words—it must be experienced in person." —Chris Thomsen

We packed up our car with our clothes, my wedding dress, some snacks, and of course left enough room for our dog to be comfortable. It was a nice way to see some new parts of the country." —Ana Sill

Made the trip solo in my '69 Camaro convertible with no air conditioning. The 327 engine got me eight miles to the gallon. Gas must have been cheap then because I couldn't afford it now!" —Barbara Traveler
