  16. Welcome to the Grand Prix of Baltimore, an event held from Friday to Sunday where you can see sports cars tear their way through the 12-turn, two-mile track along Baltimore's harbor at speeds of up to 180 miles per hour.

  19. The calm before the storm: This year, more than 30 bands will take the stage in Virginia Beach for the Verizon Wireless American Music Festival, playing all kinds of music—rock and roll, jazz, blues, country, and R&B—by local, regional, and national bands.
