Why It's A Deal On a recent Kayak search, we found multi-city airfare between Los Angeles, Beijing, and Shanghai for $816 in early December (on a joint itinerary with Alaska Airlines, Hainan Airlines, and China Eastern Air). The Beijing-Yichang flight is $235, while the Chongqing-Shanghai flight is $254. Add that to about $166 per person for the three-night stay at the Tiantan Hotel in Beijing, $470 for the Victoria cruise, and about $72 for the two-night stay at the Bund Riverside, and you'd pay at least $2,013 for airfare and accommodations alone if you booked this trip independently. For $414 less, this deal also includes guided tours and excursions, entrance fees, and all ground transportation.

More Travelers can add nights in Beijing from $25 per person, per night, and in Shanghai from $34 per person, per night. Several optional tours are available, including a half-day tour of Old Beijing's hutongs ($69 per person) and a full-day visit to the Forbidden City, Summer Palace, and Beijing Zoo ($119 per person).
