Why It’s a Deal A recent Kayak search found airfare from Los Angeles to Phnom Penh, with a return trip via Siem Reap, starting at $1,695 in mid-July (Korean Air). Two nights at the Juliana Hotel in Phnom Penh would run $80 per person, and three nights at the Khemara Angkor Hotel would cost from $78 per person. Added together including taxes and fees, you’d be paying $1,853 just for international airfare and accommodation alone. For only $246 more, this travel package includes the international airfare and hotels, plus domestic airfare, all ground transportation, and tours (including admission fees).
More Additional nights are available at the hotels for $75 per room, per night, including breakfast and taxes, or you can upgrade to the InterContinental Phnom Penh and Victoria Angkor Resort & Spa in Siem Reap for an extra $296 per person. The operator also offers a stopover package for Singapore, which includes two nights at the Hotel Royal or V Hotel Lavender, airport transfers, and discounted meals, at $149 per person.
