About this Hotel

Price From $106

'Hood Temple Fortune, a quiet area 30 minutes from central London. The hotel is at the intersection of two highways; it's a 15-minute walk to a Tube station and a 10-minute drive to soccer games at Wembley Stadium.

The Vibe A clean, minimalist design with furnishings that speak of big-brand efficiency. Rich beiges and mauves and a cream-colored patent-leather sofa in the lobby add token boutique hotel touches. The genuinely friendly staff takes service beyond the point of just efficient.

Rooms Twice as big as those in London. All 83 rooms have either two twin beds or a double bed and a sofa bed. Natural light streams in from large double-pane windows, which block out most of the traffic noise.

Plus Kids under the age of 18 stay for free, and a third adult pays a small fee ($23).

Minus Travel can be tricky at night when the Tube stops running at 12:30 a.m.

Free Wi-Fi? No; available for $11.50 per day.

Credit Cards Accepted AmEx, Discover, MC, Visa.

Details Doubles from $106, including continental breakfast. Rooms with double beds have sofa beds; the cost of an extra adult (age 18 and over) is $23 per night.
