About this Hotel

Price From $124

'Hood Notting Hill, fashion central for London's well-heeled. The hotel is on a quiet block that's less than 10 minutes on foot from a shady Edwardian square and stylish boutiques.

The Vibe East Asia comes to a British town house: A bronze Buddha watches over reception, the lobby has an ornately carved temple arch and Indonesian pilasters, and the hallways are decorated with framed clothing from Malaysia.

Rooms Elegant and sleek, the 50 rooms have beautiful, four-poster beds made of cherry oak. Bathrooms have polished limestone floors and huge mirrors.

Plus The small, intimate New Linden offers a few thoughtful perks worthy of a full-service hotel, such as free newspapers and a substantial breakfast buffet.

Minus A lack of soundproofed windows can make the front-facing rooms a little noisy on weekend nights. The quietest rooms are on the fourth floor at the back.

Free Wi-Fi? Yes.

Credit Cards Accepted AmEx, Mastercard, Visa.

Details Doubles from $124 (£75), including breakfast.
