Why It's a Deal The Kayak Belize trip from G.A.P Adventures is an expedition that includes the services of a local guide, meals during your four days kayaking, accommodations in Belize City, and transportation between cities. It works out to about $200 per night.

Itinerary Meet your group in Belize City, where you'll have a little time to sightsee. Then head by van to Placencia, a lovely fishing town about 150 miles south on the Caribbean. From there, embark on a four-night kayaking and camping trip around Belize's more than 300 coastal keys. Return to Belize City on an included 45-minute flight. See the full itinerary here.

Lodging Your first night will be in Belize City at the Coningsby Inn, a 10-room colonial hotel near downtown. During your expedition, you'll sleep in tents that will be provided.

More Want more time in Belize City? Add nights, from $35 per person per night.

Before You Go The trip begins and ends in Belize City. Transfers from the Belize City airport to the hotel aren't included; add them for $35 (a taxi costs about the same). Equipment is provided except for a light sleeping bag (bring your own bag or rent a sleeping mat for $10 per person). U.S. citizens will need a valid passport for travel; a visa is not required.
