There are still great deals available at ski resorts across the U.S. and Canada. These include perks like free ski passes, lift tickets, lessons, and even a horse-drawn sleigh ride.

Boyne, Mich., from $212 per room per night
The Boyne's Great Escape package includes accommodations, lift tickets (a $251 value), three meals a day, and 1 two-hour group ski or snowboard lesson per day. You'll stay at either Boyne Mountain or the Boyne Highlands Resort. Boyne is about three hours from Grand Rapids. Rates start at $212 per room per night, or $1,058 for the required five-night stay—this represents a savings of more than 50 percent when compared to the cost of purchasing all the package components separately. Smugglers' Notch, Vt., from $230 per room per night
The Club Smugglers' Advantage package provides accommodations in a mountainside condo with a kitchen, as well as daily lift tickets (a five-day lift ticket is normally $254 per person). You can take advantage of free activities at the resort, such as daily ski and snowboard camp, lessons for kids and adult beginners, and guided walks and hikes. Plus, the FunZone family entertainment center has ping-pong tables, slides, a pool, and a hot tub. You'll also receive free lift tickets valid for a future visit (through December 19, 2009). Smugglers' Notch is about an hour outside of Burlington, Vt. Rates start at $230 per room per night, or $1,150 for the required five-night stay. Mammoth Lakes, Calif., from $270 per room per night
The Mammoth Mountain Lift & Lodging package includes a three-day lift ticket (a $166 value) and accommodations. The resort is near Yosemite National Park, about a five-hour drive from San Francisco. The $270 rate reflects lodging at the Mammoth Mountain Inn, but there are upgrades available at Tamarack Lodge & Resort and Juniper Springs Resort (get all lodging information here.) You can swap one day of the ski pass for a 60-minute massage. The price doesn't include airfare. Rates start at $272 per room per night, or $1,088 for the required four-night stay. Woodstock, Vt., from $317 per room per night
Geared toward families and beginners, the Popcorn and Powder package includes accommodations at the Woodstock Inn and Resort, breakfast in the main dining room, van shuttle service between the resort and the sports facilities, and two days of lift tickets for the whole family to Suicide Six, the first ski lift in North America. Other treats include free hot chocolate in the Suicide Six lodge and a complimentary family-friendly movie screening with popcorn and pizza every Saturday at 7 p.m. at the Inn. You'll be staying in a Select Room, which comes with two double beds, a small sitting area, and basic amenities. One night in a two-bedroom condominium at Wolf Creek Utah's Moose Hollow Lodge, four ski passes to Wolf Creek Utah Ski Resort, a horse-drawn sleigh ride for four, and a $100 dining certificate at The Club at Wolf Creek Utah. Other perks include complimentary sunscreen and lip balm, and a Wolf Creek Utah souvenir T-shirt. The resort community is located in the Upper Ogden Valley, a 25-minute drive from Ogden City, an hour's drive from Salt Lake City, and just a few minutes from Snowbasin Resort and Powder Mountain. Zonder is a good resource for vacation rentals easily searchable by interest. For skiers, the Woods Manor condo in Breckenridge, Colo., would be a good choice. The condo has a kitchen and sleeps up to six people; rates start at $125 per reservation per night.
