Which Town Will Be America's Coolest in 2011?

If Senator Manchin has anything to do with it, it will be Lewisburg in his state of West Virginia. They're certainly in the lead so far with 118,928 votes. The Senator went on camera recently to encourage his constituents to vote:

In the meantime, the town of Astoria, Oregon is giving Lewisburg a good run for their money with 111,123 votes and counting. On Feb 3, the Mayor proclaimed Feb 1-11 "Astoria Appreciation Week" and filmed his own video calling for citizens to support of Astoria by casting a ballot in favor of their hometown.

Previously, we were impressed by the pride demonstrated by Alpine, Texas and Clayton, New York (both towns dedicated newscasts to their nominations).

So far over 387,000 votes have been registered as 20 small towns across the U.S. vie for the title of "Coolest."

There's a still a chance to influence the outcome by voting before the polls close this Friday (Feb 11).

Who do you think will win? We're as eager to see the final results as you are!
